The Founders’ Spirit has guided us in our first 100 years, and should inspire all brothers as they lead and serve college and university bands for another 100 years. The Founders’ Spirit calls for fellowship among all college and university band members.This Fraternity exists for all eligible band members to serve, lead, and grow in musicianship. Brothers are asked to join in growing Kappa Kappa Psi into a place for all who love band and are willing to commit themselves to its promotion and development. The dedication of all brothers, alumni, sponsors, directors, and friends of Kappa Kappa Psi will ensure another 100 years of Striving for the Highest and living The Founders’ Spirit!
Who are we?
A student service and leadership recognition society whose chief aim is to assist Directors of Bands in developing the leadership and enthusiasm required of their band. We strive to provide the band not only with organized and concentrated service activities, while giving our membership valid and wholesome experiences in organization, leadership and social contacts. We believe that “it is an honor to be selected to serve.”
Where are we located?
The Fraternity is presently located at more than 200 colleges and universities with 5,000 active members each year. Since our founding, more than 85,000 interested band members have devoted their efforts to strengthening their bands through group and individual service projects.

Chapter responsibilities include numerous concentrated service project asks as well as providing the intangible items of leadership, enthusiasm, and attitude within the college and university band programs.
